Membership in Phoenix Field & Obedience Club is open to anyone in good standing with the American Kennel Club. You can contact the membership chairman or download a new membership application form from this website. The form needs to be filled out and signed by two current club members. It can then be submitted to the PFOC Board for club approval. Attendance at PFOC classes and meetings is encouraged before submission of a membership application.
Providing facilities for training under the supervision of qualified instructors.
Conducting matches and sanctioned obedience and rally trials under the rules of the American Kennel Club.
Educating the public on the value of the well-trained dog and bringing a better understanding between dog and owner through proper training.
Protecting and advancing the interest of dogs and promoting good sportsmanship.
Phoenix Field & Obedience Club is incorporated as a not-for-profit dog training club which was founded in 1946 with the primary purpose of acquainting the public with the advantages of having an obedience-trained dog. Membership is open to all individuals in good standing with the American Kennel Club who are interested in training dogs and advancing the objectives of PFOC.
